My mom and I saw Wallace & Gromit a while back. No, I'm not 12! I took her to see it, not the other way around. Thought of it recently because it won an Academy Award. Or did it?

Anyway, my Mom really enjoyed it and its one of the few films that works well with any age.

Go buy it!
Joe

Heard about that film. It's called Flushed Away. It takes place in the sewers of London or someplace.

Let's hope the use of CG doesn't remove the charm that clay animation characters have.

Time will tell.

cg characters can have \"character\". Smiley look at toy story and nemo. but it's rare. too rare. Sad

Funny you mention Toy Story. Just watched it again yesterday.  Good stuff. One of the few times the sequel is better than the original.

Hey pkgillock, do you get the feeling we're the only ones in this forum?

I'm here! And I'm a BIG Wallace & Gromit fan. Smiley Saw Grand Day Out in 89 and haven't looked back. Caught my son onto it, and he still likes to walk around in the \"wrong trousers\". (Yes we get some odd looks when he's walking into stores with his knees locked taking huge steps. His favorite snack - crackers with cheese. And yes, we have porridge Tuesdays. And we live smack down in Southern United states where even the babies wear camo. YUcK)

If you haven't seen them, you've got to see the Cracking Contraptions collection. Aardman did these as a way to brush up on W&G before making the motion picture.

My son counted down the opening to W&G 9 months prior to its opening. Opening weekend= one kid, two parents, two Aunts, a 15 year old cousin, and two grandparents.

Will probably buy \"Chicken Run\", will see \"Flushed Away\". Have seen a few Creature comforts, will also probably buy. More for adults though.
