I am no great thinker upper of trivia questions, but I've been trying to come up with a few.  Thought it might be fun.  Then again, I thought macrame was pretty cool, too.   Grin   If the person who gets the answer right wants to post the next question, feel free.  If not, I will come up with something else.

Question: What critically acclaimed film featured a previously unknown native tribe called the Waponi Woo?

You are correct!  I just watched this movie the other night, so it was an easy question to come up with. Smiley

You can post the next question, or I can do another later.  I'm off to get something to eat for lunch.

Can other members think of the questions? Grin

If so then please name all the films that both Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks have starred in together? (Hint: One film has already been mentioned in this thread. lol)

I like how GTA3Rockstar answers trivia questions with a question. Grin

We got off onto TV...so to bring it back and perhaps start a sub-theme where the previous answer contains a hint...

What movie had the line "Is it the terrorists?"

Ok...too easy if you don't remember who said it. (it was Rachel)

Keeping with the sub-theme...what movie had the line...

"I just know that every man I kill, the farther away from home I feel."

It's a war movie.... Grin

it sounds like Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan, but I'm not sure.  Its one of my favorites though.

It can't be Jarhead...the whole movie ends with them upset they never got to kill anybody or see any action.   Smiley

Oh wait, I think it Apocalypse Now.  I am officially changing my answer.  I think.

I dont remember that many people being killed by any one person in Jarhead.  And that line is from a scene from a letter home, obviously.  I think it was Martin Sheen's character reading a letter in the file of the man he was sent to take care of.

It was from Saving Private Ryan. Sean wins!

Your turn. Use the title "Saving Private Ryan" as an implied hint.

Dang it!  I wanted to re-watch Apoc Now anyway.   Undecided  I have not seen SPR in forever, but I could have sworn I just heard that line.

Your turn Sean!   Grin

Seeing as my last name is Ryan I've got a special affinity for that movie....except my character "Sean Ryan" is one of the brothers who is flashed on screen in the opening credits as already KIA.

Who played "The Lizard King" in my favorite OS film?  (OS are the directors initials).  Who played his girlfriend?

Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison (The Lizard King) in the movie, The Doors. Meg Ryan played his girlfriend.

Ok, enough Meg Ryan. Let's move on. Grin

Saving Private Ryan won Spielberg a Best Director Oscar that year but, in a major upset, which film won for Best Picture?

Wasn't it like a grand, or something ridiculously low?
