Is there anyone out there who loves 'Lost', and can't wait for the new season?

I am a 'Lost' fan.

I saw the first season on DVD about the same time they started the second season, and was hooked. I watched the last 3/4 of the second season going week to week, with repeats thrown in so I caught up.

I usually post on this Message Board

Heavyj just finished watching the first 2 seasons (48 episodes) in like 3 weeks straight.

Do you have any theories? Or do you just like to watch the show? My friends at work criticize theories during lunch. It is fun.

Here is the best translation of the Blast Door map in the Swan...

I really think that it was an experiment gone wrong. I think they started out with good intentions, but either the company ran out of money, or lost intrest, and didn't tell the others. They think it's still going on. I'm really interested in this coming up season. To bad it starts in Oct.

I used to break my neck to get home to watch this....I wouldnt take calls even from my mother.  Threw the cat outside and would only talk to my daughter during commercial breaks.

Then came the season hiatus.

I tried to stick with it, but life got in the way.  And I would get so mad when I waited all week to find out they were showing a rerun.  That messed with me bad because it screwed up the storyline in my head.

I do know that I was of the belief that it was an experiment, but I wasnt sure that it was actually over.  The last I saw, the guy Jack had met while running the stadium seats turned out to be the guy in the underground thingamabob and he took off.  I dont know where he went, or how he had kept so much food for so long if he had been there for years.

Oh yeah, and I'm too lazy to read ep summaries. heh!  Did they ever find Walt?Huh?

I heard they are not going to do the re-runs in the middle of the season again. I guess you were not the only one who got confused. I actually liked them as they allowed me to catch up on the second season.

A few of your questions have been answered...

  • Walt was being held by the others because he was "special". His Dad got him back.
  • They have periodic supply drops on the island.
  • The guy in that thingamabob (Desmond) tried to sail his boat off the island but ended up back on the island.

Sorry you got frustrated, but many have, and that is why I think they revealed so many mysteries in the final few episodes.

I read some cool stuff on that message board where it is possible to make something invisible (bend light) using a high power electromagnetic field.

Has anyone (besides Michelle Rodriguez's character) been killed off?  Is Jinn still there?  And has he learned english yet?

No, Libby's not coming back, nexy season. They said that her contract was up, and they chose not to renew it. I really wanted to know the connection between her and Hurley. I'm so excited about Jin and Sun's baby. I think the couples so cute. I read that this next season they're concentrating on the 'others' and their story, and not the Losties. We'll see. I'm excited about either way. That's my soap, along with Desperate House Wives.

I really liked Lost, even if I only watched the few first episodes. I would have followed it close if it hadn't read a big (B.I.G. big) spoiler on the net... Of course that it was only an speculation, but with some heavy proof to support it.

Then again, I guess I won't be disappointed like you will when you find out that it was just a new criogenic treat called "Group Lucid Dream" and that everyone is asleep in a lab waiting for the cure of cancer...

Ok, I just invented everything in the upper paragraph.

Pretty weird! The best part was when sawyer through kate the fish he "won".
Anyone notice the CD the lady put on at the beginning? The cover looked like Talking Heads - Speaking in Tongues, but the song playing was definately not from that CD.

Yes, it was "Carrie." Is it a coincidence it is about telekenetic powers, something which Walt had?

The first part of S3-Ep1 was very revealing, especially the view of how the others really live. A few questions after seeing it a number of times....

1) What was Juliet upset about?
2) Why doesn't Ben like "sci-fi"? 'Carrie' in this case.
3) What are the 'Others' hiding. Why don't they want the new visitors (crash survivors) to know what they are up to.
4) How old is this community?
5) Why does the Others Place/town exist?
6) Are the Others comprised of volunteers, recruits, paid employees?

Much to my surprise, during the Lost break for season 3 many short previews, "Lost Moments", were shown during Daybreak, the show which ran in it's time spot. Each episode contained a different Lost Moment for a total of 13 moments, or 6 1/2 minutes of lost previews of the secound part of season 3.

And they are all in YouTube with the links to each one here:

Enjoy!

I loved this last episode. I think it is because it put me in another world. Experiencing deja-vu in a pub in London. Seeing your life pass before your eyes. Feeling you do have an impact on the future, but being told you don't.

Awesome writing. Like being involved in a book you can't put down. Priceless!

Poor Charlie! I don't want him to die! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh well, he was starting to get annoying. But, if they kill everyone who whines to much, or gets annoying, then there won't be to many people left!

They say the show is designed to last 5 seasons. And we have a dozen left in the third season. They revealed a lot in the Locke episode, I hope not too much. The format of the show makes it very entertaining, especially if you have seen every episode. The back stories tying together. The back stories tying into the story on the island now, make it fun to watch.

I hope not too much was revealed in the last ep. I hope Ben was lying to Locke about the "wishing box" thing. That Ben is a clever guy, I'm not sure he is telling the truth.

I think there is a lot of deception going on. Ben had Dharma food in his fridge, so the others are related to Dharma. Is Dharma a cover for what is really going on?
