I think David Cook will win tonight and Archuleta second. All three will do well with their careers no matter who wins first place tonight.  They're ALL Winners!!

Syesha is the most confident and has grown the most during this competition. I'm proud of her!

Ginafish, I agree with your choice of songs from the final 3.

All three of Cooks songs sounded similar last night. They all had that start quiet, then gradually build until the end. But, that is the way to do them on a show like this. Makes them memorable, and plays on the shorter version they seem to have to do.

I think Cooks songs sound the same all season because of two things. First he has established his own style which we can now pick out. Second, he is putting his own spin on other peoples songs.

Who will be the strongest at the end of the evening?

Well I think that the "Archie" David (as he has now been called) beat the Cook David hands down tonight in the finale.  My vote still goes to David Cook....he proved himself to be an original in my opinion where the latter just proved to be a great copy.

Either way, they are all winners!

Yeah, Archie was much better as far as a 'singing competition' goes. Cook's second song choice was questionable. Archie's choice of a redo of Imagine was questionable also, just after Cook said, he chose not to redo a song. Archie was awesome, but I would still buy Cook's album unheard before I heard more than a few songs from Archie.

Archie was incredible and out performed Cook last night, but my vote goes to David Cook and I predict he'll win. Cooks performances, all along, have been unbelievably creative. He has the stamina and creativity to reach the top!!

I don't know whether to spoil this for you people or not, but there is an online resource that has 100% accuracy when it comes to predicting the winner. I've already done a screen shot of their pick. Anyone want to know a few hours before hand, or would you rather wait and watch the show? It's like an offer for a ultrasound

  Ginafish, in answer to your question, I don't know.   One part of me says, Wait for the surprise, and the other part of me says, Yes, tell me.

Just based on the level of screams when they introduced the David's at the beginning, I'd give it to Archie. However, this goes against what my teenage girls are saying. Laurel actually made shirts with her friends which say David Cook on them. 

BTW: I for one want to wait for the show to find out.

And best appearance? I'd go for ZZ top, but they didn't spin the guitars. So instead, I enjoyed Brooke's song best.

Congratulation to Cook!! Awesome! He was incredible last night.  I loved the way he put his arm on Archie's shoulder several times last night.  He's a hugger!!!

I had to step out and missed ZZ Top  I didn't see Brooke's song, so maybe it was around then. Of the ones I did see, I actually liked George Michael's the best. Of the 12 finalists  I thought Carlie was the best in all of their performances. Brooke and Archie didn't look comfortable in that group choreography. That was cool when Archie came out and sang with New Republic.

Our DVR stopped working a couple of days ago, so we watched Tuesday and Wednesday night's shows live. People were calling into radio stations saying that their DVR stopped recording at 9pm, that was at exactly the time he sad the last 'd' in David at the end when Ryan announced 'the winner by 12 million votes is David'.
