$1 movies at AMC

This is something that I think AMC theaters does each summer.  The movies are $1on Wed mornings, 10:00am showing and money goes to charities.

Check it out and see if there is a participating theater in your area.  There were two of them in my area in Jacksonvilee.

Even though I doubt they will be first run movies or new releases, it is still a good time.

Fun for just $1!!   I found one in Austin. I don't have young kids, but I have grand kids, so this is a very good thing. Good info to help  parents this summer.

Wow! That is such a neat initiative.  They probably do it to drum up customers, because--honestly--who feels like watching a movie at 10 a.m.? 

If you don't have to be at work at 10 a.m., you should still be in your PJs!

That's funny, because I remember there was a theater back home that used to discount ticket prices on Saturdays for 10:00am showings.  I loved going at that time since I always seem to wake up very early in the morning and the theater would only be populated with other (usually quiet) early risers.     Lots of the kids would still be at home in bed or watching cartoons. LOL!

The AMCs around here do a thing where Sat. and Sun. tickets are $4 if you see a show before noon. It's kinda nice, because there's almost no one there, and it's cheaper!

Ya know, that might be the deal I was thinking about that I used to take advantage of.  We have HUGE AMC megaplexes back home.
