I am today, as many other days, extremely grateful for my daughter.  Unlike many other days, she's actually DONE something today. bwahaha!!  Wink

Lastnight, there was a TERRIBLE smell coming from my bathroom.  (go ahead and get all your jokes out of the way here, haha!)  No one but myself seemed to smell it.  (yes, yes, the one who smelt it is the one who dealt it)  Anyway, today it was WAY worse...  lastnight I couldnt quite place the foul odor, but today, it was definitely decomp.   Undecided

I walked outside and checked out the area right below my bedroom and bathroom windows.  PEE-YEWEY!  There had to be something dead under the house.

Sneaker actually suited up (long pants, two shirts, thick hoodie, mask, welders gloves) and armed with a broom, plastic garbage bag and flashlight, she crawled under the house from one end to the other and found the dead thing.  She bagged it and got rid of it.  We dont know what it is...cat, small dog, BIG possum....but thank heavens its gone.  Its not actually GONE.  Its in the trashcan next to where my roommate parks.  He's gonna have to do something with it when he gets home.  I parked at the end of the property.  *blech!*

So, Sneaker gets a "MY HERO" award today!  I'm so thankful she is who she is, and could do that.

Sneaker is VERY cool. Not many teenagers would do that for their Mom. Thartley, when things like this happen you need to make sure you have a camera handy so you can get a good shot of her with full varment gear on.

Grateful for? Well, of course, I'm grateful for all the people who visit this site. You all are the wind in Isara's sails. ...Or wind beneath our wings, if you want to quote a sappy theme song. Grin  Thank you to every Isara visitor and member. Good things are happening because of you.

I'm grateful that I have a roof that doesn't leak, that my family is healthy, and crazy, that I have food including chocolate cake, that my plumbing works. I'm grateful that Isara is a positive place to hang out in a world wide web of mischief. But most of all I'm grateful for love. *sniff, sniff*

I'm grateful the Thai Prime Minister is without a job. ....Don't worry, he's a billionaire, he'll be fine.

Now if we can just get rid of all other corrupt officials around the world.

I grateful for:
An amazing husband of 46 yrs.
My 3 wonderful sons.
My new daughter-in-love.
My 6 terrific grandchildren.

I'm especially grateful this morning for a husband who listens to his hearts' warning signs, telling him when to seek professional medical help.
Because he takes care of himself, his entire family can love him for many more years.  Smiley

I love you Gwiz.  Kiss

I'm grateful that I live at the beach again, in a quiet community, breathing ocean air.

I also heard an interview with a man who was mechanic but also he was blind.  He said many people get up out of bed with the attitude "Oh man, I have to go to work today."  But his attitude is "Man, I GET to go to work today."

So, I'm grateful for the job I have, which affords me the opportunity to improve the worklife of our staff.

This is not to say, good times have not existed in life because they have and will be in my life, but I am grateful for my hardships. I'm not asking for hardships, but we can't escape them. We will all have our trials and tribulations past, present, and future, but we must grow, learn, and continue to move forward. Even when when we feel so heavy with pain and doubt. Take care. Gbya

I am most greatful that Jesus died for my sins and said He would never leave me. I have valley times as does everyone that draws a breath, but He walkes me THROUGH the valleys, He doesn't leave me there. And the blessings, Oh! the blessings, they are truly more than I can count. Family, Friends, just life itself. For this I am soooo gratful!!!!

I'm grateful today for my friends.  I have a couple of friends I eat lunch with everyday at work.  We always confirm with each other around 10:30 or so if we will be making it downstairs to the cafeteria, and I was so busy with a project that I didnt even have time to check my e-mail to let them know I wouldnt make it.  At the end of my USUAL lunch hour, I looked up and my friends had come to my department to "see if I was being held hostage".  My dept VP (who was at my desk at the time) ordered me to take a break and socialize with my friends and she bought my lunch!  Smiley

I'm grateful for all the support from the Isara members during the Learning Center renovation.  We thought about you guys every day and without you we couldn't have worked on this huge project.  Cheesy I'm grateful the plumbing works! Shocked

There's still a lot to do to prepare for students, but the major renovations are complete.  Cheesy
