I had the pleasure of meeting Ale in my shop and she was genuinely interested in  Isara's projects. This is the comment she wrote on my profile. Cheesy

Hi! | February 28, 2008, 03:50:27 PM | yancey
This is Ale(Alejandra). I came to your shop last weekend on Sunday, you told me about isara. I was just letting you know my screen name and that I love  the site. Thanks for enlightening me!

Thank you Ale and welcome to Isara!! Remember to tell all your friends about Isara and feel free to post anytime.  Cheesy

I just realized I have good news too. Our computer doesn't randomly shut down anymore, after my mom decided to vacuum the inside of it, removing an inch-thick layer of dust. Feels weird getting to decide when it shuts down.

My good news?  I really DID save a lot on my car insurance with GEICO.  I was able to download Skype (thanks Sean!) and called them this morning as my policy is now up for renewal.  Because my car is in storage until October, my entire policy premium ended up being less than my original renewal rate by itself.

How cool!  Saving money is always good news.

Great news Thartley, I wish I could save money by switching to GEICO. Maybe I can...

My good news? No more school for a couple of months, baby! *Lets boredom set in* I am now even more compulsive about checking Isara and DVXUser because I have nothing else to do! I can, however, watch more movies. Just rented The Bucket List, watch for the review in my blog sometime soon!

My Good News is that my dad really seemed to enjoy getting parakeets for father's day. Grin Grin Hope he still feels the same way after a couple of weeks of hearing twittering constantly. Cheesy

Its great that you saved money, but is it just me or does it sound outrageous that you have to pay a half years worth of premiums on essentially a giant unmoving paperweight.  Its like handing free money to the insurance companies, assuming public storage doesn't get hit by a meteor. (and even then public storage's insurance would cover the tab).

I think I would just take the tags/tires off and then nobody knows the difference.

Bureaucratic red tape....I hail from such a place as that, so the full effect of its absurdity is diluted by years of continuous exposure.  But it is a paperweight I tend to sell to someone else when I return to my own planet.

My car is registered as a "non op" until I get it running again.

The storage place doesnt allow non-op vehicles, my ins co said I couldnt get the reduce rate if the car was non-op.  I think maybe i will park it on the side of the road with a sign.  "Out of gas, will fill up when I hit the lottery"
