Just wanted to remind people, that using the internet, you can find local blood drives easily. Summer is one of the critical times because blood supplies have a hard time keeping up with demand of summer accidents.

If you enter your zip code, and don't find a blood drive in your area, type in a zip code for a city you'd like to take a day trip too. Smiley

If Isara can paint a building thousands of miles away, Isara visitors should be able to donate locally. Smiley

I donate at the Florida-Georgia Blood Alliance, and because I donate frequently, I get freebies.  Usually, its good stuff, too.  My favorite was a t-shirt that says \"I'm a two-timer\".  I get lots of wierd looks in that shirt, even though it CLEARLY has the blood alliance logo on the front.

Thartley, you're back.  I missed you. I'm sure you've been really busy.  That's great that ya'll give blood.  I wonder if they would want my RH negative blood, low blood sugar and all?    I've never given before. I'm probably like a lot of people, we only think about it when someone we know needs it.  Sad  That's sad, but true, for most people.
