People can exceed your expectations

Just wanted to share some good news happening in Texas. My fiance' recorded the music part of the first 5 tracks of her album this Memorial Day weekend.

We paid for some studio time at a studio in Fort Worth and travelled there this weekend to oversee the work. Let me tell everyone that we were both blown away by the talent of her guitarist and arranger, Eric Henson. Eric plays in Amanda's Praise and Worship band and is a very quiet and humble person. He has taken the lyrics and melodies to 4 of Amanda's original songs and created some awesome arrangements. Its funny how the most humble people exude the most talent.

I cannot begin to explain how it feels to witness pure talent in action. Amanda would sing the words to these songs to me, and they sounded great, however, that was just the seed. After hearing those songs turn from that simple beginning, to a drum and bass lines, and then layer upon layer of guitars, is an amazing thing to witness.

It is amazing to witness pure talent. Like an artist who can turn a blank canvas into a work of art. Glad you all had a good recording session. Can't wait to hear the result. Send us some of her music and we'll make sure it gets heard.
