A friend of mine gave me this book because he didn't like it. I have to say I didn't like it much either.

With other titles like "Metallica and Philosophy" and "South Park and Philosophy", I was a little skeptical. But being an addict of this show, I had to read it.

I'd say there is 25% of the book worth reading. Most articles you can apply to any TV show. The ones that were good, actually looked at LOST philosophically. The meaning of the number 23 was cool. And they brought on Satre's play which had the quote: "Hell is other people". And I love to read about Kierkegard's "Leap of Faith", as he is a distant uncle of mine.

I took Philosophy in College and it was the best Life Lesson of the bunch.

This book is a little sophmoric, but it was good to read some intelligent views on the happenings on the island. Actually just re-reading details of episodes was cool.
