Thanks guys..just playing my part to spread the words..

Perhaps we should somehow hi-lit the services like "picture hosting", "blogging" so as to make people sign up and at the same time realize they are actually doing a good deed whenver they make use of these services provided by "Isara". (from my own experience, I was drawn to "Isara" becos of the picture hosting..Tongue)

Yesterday, Nok and Tar (Isara's interns) were busy handing out fliers to people at the mall. In total they gave 1,500 Isara.com advertisements to people. Thai people are more familiar with .com addresses so we've decided to use isara.com for the thai version of the site.

Today we're going to canvas the entire neighborhood (internet cafes, businesses, government offices, schools, etc.) with another 1,500 fliers. We'll also try to get the local radio and tv stations to do a story on Isara.

Thanks to Tar and Nok for all their help. Grin

That's nice, but shouldn't it be Isara.org? Smiley

Um, no. Isara.com is the Thai site. Isara.org is the english site.

Oh yeah I see what you mean. If you input [.com] it goes to [http://www.isara.org/th/].

Maybe you could make a Nepali version of the site, too. Cheesy

Today we bothered almost EVERYONE in Nong Khai about Isara.com . Grin

Tar and Nok walked up and down sidewalks telling all the businesses about Isara and I went to every radio and tv station in town (fortunately one of our old students is a local news reporter) and then every internet cafe (which are filled with students surfing the Internet). Many people were interested in the site and some even changed their homepage as we talked to them.

We will do the same thing tomorrow and on Saturday.

I was cracking my brain on what to do with my obsolete calling cards..Suddenly, the "bingo" bulb lighted up!!

- the old calling cards with the aid of the scissor, glue and double-side tape

-Just cut and glued it up - it becomes a bookmark!!

- "Censored" those obsolete details..

- But the most important thing is there's a "isara" label to tell people abt it when i give out this rejuvenated calling card-cum-bookmark..

Save the earth by recycled and rejuvenated the cards and spread the message of sharing and caring as well Tongue
