- got myself this solar charger..


- using the room light + help for a portable lamp to charge


- the LED here double-up as an indicator of how much strength "inside" the charge = the brighter it is, the charger still can charge...

You could sell a million of these in Houston right now. Still with over a million homes without power, any outlet in Houston right now which works, has got a cell phone charger plugged into it.

Being without electricity gives one an appreciation for solar power. Smiley I think the small solar panels are a great way to ease the idea of solar power into the public's eye. If I can power my cellphone, then maybe my lap top, then maybe my refrigerator, then maybe my whole house! Smiley Some people need baby steps to appreciate the finer points of some ideas.
