Okay, I found this particular site from another that PK referred me to previously.  I'm sure the list will update and be rotated to reflect current top tens, but I am in such a romantic stupor lately...  :silly:   check out Sop Tee Ok Chan by Clash.  Its number 3 right now.  The lyrics are like a love letter.

I read the lyrics, they're lovely.  I wish I could have heard the music.  Thai music is truly beautiful.

Oh, on the same page as you were reading the lyrics, there is a green arrow in a circle on the left side.  It says \"Click to Play\"

When you click the green arrow, another window will pop up and you will see another row of green buttons.  Click the green arrow pointing to the right.

It should then play for you if you have speakers hooked up.  Smiley   Sounds more complicated than it is.  Wink

thartley, those are great instructions. Smiley It took me a minute to figure out I could listen to it, then I just stared at the popup box waiting for it to automatically play. Smiley Then I realized the arrows weren't fast forward, but play... d'Oh!

The first song I heard reminded me of the power ballads of the big hair bands in the 80s. Think that's why you like it? :p

You're right. A lot of the music sounds like its from the 80's. I guess we all go through that phase. But that means, in a few years, Thailand will have an unusual Grunge movement to look forward to.

Well, I was a fan of grunge in the early 90s, so when it happens, let me know. Smiley 80s hair bands? Not so much.

Are you kidding me?  No Poison, Scorpion, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue?  No Flight of Seagulls?  Duran Duran?  No Cinderella, Twisted Sister?

Ack, nevermind...were you even old enough to buy \"albums\" back then?     I forget I am The Old One here. haha!!!

Thanks Terri, for the instructions.  I'll try again later.

My American Idol comes on tonight.  I've watched it every year since the beginning.  Katherine McPhee is my favorite to win.
Has anybody been watching?  The finals will be next week.
Last year's American Idol concert in San Antonia was a blast. I hadn't been to a concert in years.

Check out #6 on the Thai Top Ten by Nat Myria.  It's really beautiful.  I heard alot of music similar to this when I was there in Octorber.   The guy rock bands aren't my favorite.
