This is a favorite in my car when I'm not listening to a disk.  Sneaker really loves this station as well.  For being a teenager, she really enjoys this stuff.

Anyway, its a local station right here in Jacksonville broadcast from Jones College.  Yesterday, I heard the announcer say "Welcome to our new friends in France!"  so I made a note of tghe web address he mentioned.

Enjoy...

Does anyone else have a particular radio station they like to listen to online?

I listen to these two Australian stations...

Triple J

and

RRR

Sometimes they have some good music and interviews. I don't always like the music, but it is different than what they have over the airwaves here.

Actually not much into radio, but when I do listen I listen to Live365 on my computer. Real radio seems to have to much talk for my taste.

I was using Internet radio earlier this year but it was annoying how it would stop occasionally to buffer. Now I just listen to my own music.

As a person who never has enough money for music I listen Fanatically to internet radio.

Here are some of my favorites:

Wefunk
my favorite genre is called rare grooves. The problem with rare grooves, is that they are rare, hence the name. Rare grooves are actually a group of energetic up tempo jazz and soul tunes, with some real 1960-1979s funk and a funky blue note tune in between. This station fulfills my Rare Groove cravings.
Oh, and they have some hip-hop from the nighties (lyrics are more help the community than being a gangster 101), But I do not like the beats of the hip-hop.

Scratch
This station has an unusually good selection of dub, first wave ska and reggae.
Me like.

SoMa FM
when I'm in the mood for a really obscure genre.

There are some radio stations here in Thailand that I listen to:

http://radio.mcot.net/
http://radio.mcot.net/107.htm
International music and 97.5 for Thai music.

(If you listen to the international music in Thailand you will notice that Thai people like love songs and rock music. So it may be a different style of listening from what you're use to.)

I like to listen to the radio cause they have some news that comes up every hour and the songs always make me feel good when I am listening. Wink

www.beatlesarama.com is really great. Otherwise, I'm listening to various stations on itunes, I lean towards classic rock.
