I've recently found myself drawn to a female singer/songwriter/pianist named Alison Sudol, who is better known as A Fine Frenzy. Every time I listen to her music it lightens my mood and makes me think about my life in a deeper moral sense, the harmonic melodies, and the haunting sound of her voice really can invoke powerful emotions. To describe it simply, it's beautiful and certainly a breath of fresh air compared to what I've been listening to as of late. I discovered her on VH1's Nocturnal State which hosts some incredible artists. Too bad it's only on at 2:00AM central time, what I did manage to discover on it is was great though, too bad my memory sucks, at least I retained this little gem.
I figured the people here would enjoy her a lot, One Cell in the Sea is going to be the first new album I've gotten since last christmas.

Is Nocturnal State on every night or just a couple of times a week? I like to listen to the up and coming artists before they become mainstream. Fine Frenzy might just stay behind the scenes since her music is nice. I can hear the Keane influence with a Tori Amos spin on her voice. Wonder if she'll be my myspace friend? Thanks King |

I fail to see the hilarity :p
Just got it, along with the new Amy Winehouse and Hiromi Uehara, and I must say, it sounds vastly better on CD than it does on Myspace.
