Don't forget to eat plenty of Indian food. It ranks #2 in the completely subjective hillscott - best ethnic food ever list... behind Thai of course Wink

Because the flight from Bangkok to Kolkata was canceled I was thinking about just flying directly to Mumbai (time restraints). But woke up this morning and saw the reports about the terrorist attacks. So that just leaves Africa. If I can't get a ticket from Bangkok to Kenya then the trip will be postponed until at least February, when I get back from the USA.

Thanks for everyone's support. Will let you know the new plans in the next 24 hours.

PK, just stay safe.  I have a friend who flew in to Mumbai today, right as all this went down.  We still have not heard from him.  Glad to know you are okay and doing what you need to do.

All this has got me in full Mother Mode.   Smiley

Take care and keep us all in the loop.

Sorry to hear that PK. Lots of thing just happen so fast. We have no idea what gonna happen by tomorrow.
The situation in Mumbai is more violence than Thailand.  May be you can plan to go there later.
Hope you could make you plans ok and stay safe.  We waiting for your update.

Take care.
