Wedding gift donations

Mr. Isara,

As you know, I am getting married in June, and my fiance' and I thought, since it is a 2nd marriage for both, that in lue of wedding gifts, our guests donate to Isara.

You used to have a Donate link, now I can't find it. It would be nice if we could say in the invitation:

\"In lue of any wedding gifts you may feel like giving, the bride and groom request that you make a donation to www.isara.com instead. Please visit www.isara.com if you would like to donate.\"

We would just need it to be clear how to donate once they get to the site. It would be fun if there was an easy way for them to post some \"good luck\", \"best wishes\" messages or have a \"toast\" section of the forum.

If you have trouble figuring out how to do this, you can always ask Dr. Love.

We will be adding the PayPal link again soon. It was causing the homepage to load slower so we are moving it to a different section of the site. If you let us know when you'll be sending invitations we can create a link on the site specifically for your quests. Also, if you'll be having a reception, maybe you could consider having a donation box. ...Or how about a full size Isara logo singing with the band. He knows all the modern hits.

Welcome to the board Amanda. Oh, and welcome to the family too!

I can't promise you anything. These rented mascots live by their own set of rules. The last reception the logo attended was cut short because of a small fire. The logo was then seen leaving, in the newly weds rented Cadillac, with some of the wedding gifts and two of the bridesmaids. Bad logo!

But I'll make sure he's on his best behavior since this is for family. Thanks for being so generous and for making ZeroG happy. See you at your wedding. I'll be the one in the blue foam logo costume.

Congratulations on your wedding.  He's a great guy! I guess you already know this.  He's getting someone very special too and we know that.  Congratulations to everyone, all 5 kids, they are getting a great Mom and Dad.

Hey!  That's it!     Even though I dont know Getamanda or ZeroG, I'll donate that $100 I found a couple days ago for their wedding/donation gift!  A bit early, but who cares?  I had a lady at the post office run her counterfeit pen over it this morning to verify that its real, so its good to go!

So it's been more than a month since the last update.

As of today we have received $220 in donations from Getamanda and ZeroG's wedding donations. There's still time for people to respond to the invitations. Also, a donation box will be displayed at the reception so we will probably receive some more in mind-June.

Thank you to Thea for her generous donation of $100.
