In this topic we'd like to discuss the small charity projects Isara does. These are not frontpage events but they are worth noting so that visitors can see how their clicks still make a difference in between the bigger projects.
- Isara will open up its computer room to students and adults who want to use the computers for research or homework.
- Last week Isara helped two college students get internships at the Immigration Office. Two other students will intern at Isara starting next month.
- Two weeks ago Isara bought uniforms for some kindergarten students in a small village ($50). The school was very thankful to everyone who supports Isara with their clicks.
- Last month we assisted two men from Africa who were arrested because of immigration issues and were going to be deported.
- In June and July Isara assisted the Thai Ministry of Culture by providing them with information about foreigners who harm Thailand's image by trafficking women over the Internet.
- Two months ago Isara was informed about a 12 year-old student who couldn't go back to school because her family couldn't afford it. Isara spoke to the headmaster and they agreed to cover all the costs of her studies, as long as Isara bought the books she would need. ($25)
- Helmets are given away on a regular basis. And students who study at Isara are encouraged to wear helmets.
When other small projects are completed we will post them here. We encourage you to do the same by posting your Random Acts of Kindness in the
"Your Projects" section.
