Ya know, I have never even heard of some of those 'squishes', and I am a veggie person!  My favorites are yellow or crookneck squash boiled with onions, zuchini squash in stirfry dishes, and spaghetti squash with spaghetti sauce.

My mom makes a delicious zuchini bread, too!  mmmmmmm....

Grin Maybe we should all eat more acorn squash, in honor of Isara's Acorn Project. Grin hehehe   I just wish it wasn't the hardest to peel and cut. Yikes!

I love spaghetti squash. It's so easy to grow, and you can use it for everything. It's a great substitute for noodles, if you're allergic to wheat, as I am

Ack! You are allergic to wheat??!!?? As a carb addict that would be sooo hard for me!

I enjoy spaghetti squash as an occasional  pasta substitute, but I really like the noodles too.

Rice pasta. It's soooo good! I've tried the corn pasta, and it makes whatever you cook taste like you put corn bread in it. The rice noodles tastes just soaks up the flavor, and it has a nice feel to it

I don't live by cool grocery stores. Sad They only starting stocking soy products in the last 5 years. Really. I had to go to a specialty store in the state capital to buy "health food".

Are the rice noodles the ones in the asian food section that look like a brick of white noodles?? Cheesy

No, I get them at Hen House. They're in a blue box, and look just regular noodles. There are spaghetti noodles, the twirling one, and the maccaroni ones. I'm still trying to find a picture of it

Here's the website. The rice noodles are the best. I've only found them at Hen House. I've looked at some organic stores, and Wal-Mart (which they are starting to get more organic stuff) but Hen House is the only place I've found
