Yes, we have an "In the Kitchen" thread where we talk food. That's why this one is called: Recipe Specific.

Try to only post recipes you have tried, or in this case, to help another Isara member. Smiley

First recipe:
Refrigerator Pickles (if you can get your hands on vinegar, salt, and sugar, this recipe will 'pickle' any veggie. Smiley

Finally, help for singles, and people who only have microwaves.

Five Minute Chocolate Cake has just a few ingredients, and microwaves in three minutes! I might be trying this later with regular flour since I don't buy cake flour. One of the commenters also substituted more oil for the egg, but applesauce or mashed banana might work too.

I could make this for my  husband. He loves chocolate cake!   It's  one serving, so there won't be any leftovers.
In our house it's not good to have left over desserts waiting to be eaten.  Grin

Just wanted to pass along this great crock pot recipe. It makes a lot of food, is easy enough for anyone to throw together, and is hearty enough to be appreciated by manly men. Cheesy Plus it's a great Fall/Winter dish, and great for potlucks and family gatherings. Smiley
