I plan on breast feeding while I'm off work (7 wks), but I'm not going to feel guilty if that doesn't work out. Pacifiers are ok in my book, I know some people freak out about "nipple confusion" but for the most part, I think babies are fine with it. I have friends who have breast fed & not had any trouble using a pacifier, or bottle feeding breast milk for that matter. I'll be a disposable diaper person, although I admire people who are committed enough to use cloth. And finally...pain killers please! Unless of course, I don't need them, but I know you need to get them before it's too late, so I'm already planning on having an epidural. Most medical things like that make me sick, so I'm already planning on feeling like puking at some point. But it's all good b/c no matter what happens, I can't wait to meet my baby.  Cheesy

I know you are very excited, pepperland67. Do you think you'll stay home, go back to work, or you are not for sure at this time? Gbya

You're all prepared to puke at some point?? ROFLMAO! I haven't heard a woman approach it with such commitment before. Grin

Funny story, with my 2nd, my water broke at home right after we finished dinner. After getting into the hospital, they had to do an emergency c-section b/c her pulse was dipping way low (52bpm!). I had an epidural with first son b/c of a similar emergency, but this one was different b/c they had to take me to the operating room. The room was freaking COLD!!! So he gives me the shot and I swear I have just peed all over myself. I start chanting "Oh No, oh no, oh no!" They said, "Don't worry, we'll get her out in time." And I said, "Not that! I just peed!!" Needless to say, everyone laughed and explained it was the warm sensation from the epidural coursing through my bloodstream. HA! Cheesy Cheesy  Grin

Yep, I'll be going back to work, can't afford not to. Honestly, I like working, so I'm not sure I would be a stay at home mom even if I had the choice.

That is really good. It would be nice to stay at home, but I'll prefer to work as well. I was thinking if I would stay at home, it will be nice to work out of my home with a business, but we shall see. I pray everything goes beautifully for you and your husband. Take care. Gbya

In my experience, getting to be a stay at home mom is the neatest thing ever, and just about the worst at the same time.  The reason I say that is because you are completely consumed by household and baby responsibilities and sometimes, you don't even get to shower or get dressed until your husband comes home from work.

And, if you are not careful, you will become the biggest procrastinator on the planet.  I have to admit that there have been days where I was like, "I know that I need to do some laundry, but I have 3 hours until the kids get home from school, so I will just watch a little telly first."  And then, with only 15 minutes to spare, you start this flight of the bumblebee pattern to straighten up or put that load of laundry in or get dinner started.  It will make you nuts if you are not careful!

Of course, it will make you nuts and then your children will be like, what's up with mommy Cheesy

I truly feel being an at home mom is nice and really hard all in one. Some say they have it made and they don't do anything, but that is such a huge lie. Then there are women who have jobs and some say they are wrong for abandoning their children for work, but they have it hard as well. Personally, I would want to work, instead of staying at home.  Take care. Gbya

Exciting news! I went to the doctor today and he confirmed by ultrasound that the baby is still breech. No big surprise there, I know exactly where the head is b/c it feels like its going to come through my stomach every night. Well, the chances of it turning aren't looking good since it's running out of room and my fluid levels are starting to decrease. Sooo, my c-section has been set for May 3rd!! Which is CRAZY, that's only one week from Thursday!! I go back for a checkup on 5/1, and as long as the baby hasn't turned the c-section will be a go on the 3rd. I've got all these emtions and I'm still getting used to thinking that yep, we will be having a baby that day. My doc said everything looks good otherwise, the baby is ready, and he felt feet during the exam today which is weird & cool to me at the same time. Lastly, my shower was awesome, I am really blessed by my friends & family. My hubby Jim said now he REALLY needs to get going on putting the carseat together.  Cheesy

Great News Amanda!! WoOHoo!! May 7th, we want pictures! Cheesy

Terri, yes, the baby version is like that. Apparently good for feeding the baby while in the car seat... or so mom can feed the baby while taking a much needed quick shower!

Looks like Graham is going to get here tomorrow!

getamanda went to the doctor today, and he wants to induce tomorrow.

Graham hasn't grown as much as he should in the last few weeks, and
her amniotic fluid is low, so they want to deliver 2 weeks early.

I'm really getting excited and can't wait to see him. getamanda
is freaking out.

Look for pictures in a couple of days.
