I found this link on Thai Massage and thought it would be a great idea to post it here.

I've been having some therapeutic massages at the chiropractor's office for a while now and can attest to its benefits, but never had a thai massage.

I wonder if there is a school in Nong Khai that teaches it?...

I love massage! I had the great luck of knowing a woman who was getting certified in prenatal massage when I was pregnant the first time around. She needed a willing guinea pig and tada! Free massages every two weeks from 4 months till the end. Then she wanted her certification in infant massage training so she taught me how to massage infants.

Also, if you ever want a good deal, look for a massage school in your area. Usually 60% cheaper! Students always need people to practice on, and I say even a student massage is a good one! Cheesy

Good idea, Ginafish. Grin

Thartley - We'll hook you up once you're here. You'll get plenty of massages and I'm sure they'll teach you how to massage in exchange for English lessons.

There is a movie floating around somewhere called "Essential Self Massage."  I found it probably 3 years ago on UseNet (a bit-torrent/kazaa like system), so I don't have a link.  Amazing stuff that works really well.

Just as it is calming for the one being massaged, it is calming for the Massage Therapist to give it.  Imagine the calming of both in one!  Works wonders on stress-related muscle tension, not so well on injuries though.
