I was just wondering if there was anyone on here who has Lupus, and if you do, have you found anything that works to control your symptoms? I've been diagnosed for over a year, and have extreme joint pain. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions?

Hi Heather, welcome to the forum! Smiley Smiley

I don't have or know anyone with Lupus, but I'm sure there are some message boards out there of people who are trying to control and live with their symptoms. I'll see if I can find some boards you might want to explore later. Smiley It's important to have support from people who understand esp when you have something that others don't understand.

You probably have already searched and found every website you can imagine about this subject. But here are just a few things I found.

My Lupus Story

Health Newsflash info on Lupus

A book on Amazon

I'll see what else I can find.

This group also seems to be active, you can also go to the same address without the /message-board-forum/ part and see the main page to read more about them.

If you find some interesting health websites, feel free to post their address in the forum. Helpful websites are always nice! Smiley

I have a close friend whose aunt has had lupus for many many years.  I will give my friend a call and see if she can offer any worthwhile info or references.  Support is invaluable, as Ginafish pointed out.
