I read this article from the Mayo Clinic, which is a pretty reliable source for medical info, on things that work, things that don't, and things that can't hurt when treating a common cold.

What do other people do when they get ill with this miserable affliction?

http://www.mayoclinic.com...lth/cold-remedies/ID00036

I do take my vitamin C, and I ramp up the zinc if I get sick...and both of those fall under the "can't hurt" section.  Just about EVERYBODY at the office I USED TO WORK AT got sick pretty bad with a cold bug that was going around.  I am about the only one who did not get it.  Of course, my stress level was way down, too. haha!!!!

Now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time I was ill. Probably in like -06.

Yeah I haven't been sick in quite a while now...

Remembering my old English teacher told us being sick always refers to throwing up combined with the three dots at the end of your sentence, suggesting perhaps a witty and humorous emphasis on that sentence, I'm lead to think by that you mean you haven't been on a drunken binge in some time?

I love long and confusing sentences.
