I've been seeing a chiropractor for a little bit now, partly out of curiosity and partly because I really wanted to see what the overall benefits would be.  I lucked out and got right in with a chiro that also has a fitness and nutrition doctor that I can see as well.  In Jan, they are starting a wellness program that I am very interested in.  Anyway, one of the things they strongly suggest is  supplementing a healthful diet with the right kinds of vitamins.  The main dr is a vegetarian, so that is kinda right up my alley (although I have to give in to having a good steak now and then).

Anyway, since seeing them and talking with them, I've started taking vitamins again.  I had already been taking Vitamin C just as my regular winter cold precaution.  For my particular musculo-skeletal health, I take Glucosamine Sulfate and a Calcium with Vit D and Magnesium.  Later, I added daily Fish Oil (EPA 180mg, DHA 120mg) and a B-Complex.  I bought all these at drug stores like Walgreens or CVS.  Yesterday, while I was at the office, I bought a bottle of their multivitamins for $10.

I've been feeling really really good lately, and I dont know if it is any single thing as much as it is the combination of the spinal manipulations together with the vitamin supplements.

Just wondering if anyone else takes vitmains on a regular basis, and do you just take one multi or do you take more than one kind?

I see a Chiropractor/ Herbalist/ Wellness expert. I take a bunch of organic vitamins, and I feel better then ever. In fact, because of them, my Lupus is in remission, and I am on no medications. I'm glad that you are taking control of your health, and that you're starting to feel better!

Hubby and I go through our bouts with vitamins, then fall off the wagon for a bit. We are currently off the wagon. Cheesy Although, we do still use the combo b vitamin for pick me up's. Much better than caffeine.

For right now, sugar is my choice vitamin with a pinch of pepto bismol. And a bottle of good hard cider for the holidays.

I'm glad to know your lupus is still in remission!  Smiley  As for me, there is nothing like the prospect of no healthcare insurance to kick you right into healthy hyperdrive. haha!

I take several vitamins including C, B-complex, and Iron.  About four months ago I began taking MSM on the advise of my niece.  She has had major problems with very bad headaches for years with headaches most days.  She started taking MSM on the advice of a friend and now has no headaches.  I had begun having 2-3 day headaches twice a week over the summer. I now rarely have one and they are mostly mild.  I highly recommend trying it if you have lots of very bad headaches.

I don't take vitamins, except the ones I get from food. Apparently it's pointless if your diet's somewhat decent. My diet could probably be a lot healthier but I'm almost never ill. It's probably been like a year since the last time I had a cold or something. I don't have headaches either. Plus, I stay in good shape with almost no exercise. Boy, I have great genes.

I dont take vitamins but my father and brother do almost religiously and all i can say is that i hear him opening and closing about 20 different bottles every morning and night and it takes up so much cabinet and counter space that my mom has surrendered the ensuite bathroom to my dad and she uses the other one upstairs because he has so many vitamin and suppliment bottles.  My mom is almost never sick but she never takes vitamins.  My brother is rarely ill but he has always been that way.
