Nick, we always miss you when you're away. Cheesy

I've enjoyed your photo very much and for this reason.   Cheesy
It sets the sun up for special importance with the many horizontal layers and the vertical poles.  Grin   Your appreciation for it's natural beauty was an excellent choice.   Smiley   I'm not an expert on photos, but I do appreciate the many layers of different natural elements captured.   Grin  I've counted at least 7 horizontal layers and 8 if I include  the road stripes.    Grin

Haha, the power poles do add a certain lovely aspect to it. Cheesy I was actually on my way home from LA and I was eating Taco Bell so my mom was driving and I told her she had to pull over so I could take that picture.

It's amazing what you can find hiding in the plants. Grin

Were you busy filming your back yard (again) while Ming cleaned the roof? You are lucky she didn't sweep some fruit on your head! Cheesy

Those photos are great though! Were they shot with your video camera?

Shot this the other evening. It's a typical sunset along the Mekong River.

A few doors down from the ILC is this new shop. It's a 4D Ultrasound Pregnancy Center and Coffee/Cake shop all-in-one location. Unusual combinations like this are very common here and they almost always involve food. Ex: Law Office and Restaurant. Mechanic and Bakery.

Very cool, Mus. Great dimensions and colors. Would make a nice mural on a wall.

That is a cool shot of the train station. Smiley I don't see anyone in shorts so I wonder if it's chilly? The rustic color makes it feel warm. Smiley

Well fall is coming and it's about 18 C. That's 64.4 Fahrenheit for you europeally challenged. So not that warm.

More quick edits art!

And some random snaps. I used my four-year-old phone's camera, bear with the quality. I don't mean that literally, there's no bears.

I could translate the text on the sign in the last picture but I think it's better when it seems like it tells you to not ski on grass.

Bear with me, Cheesy but what does the reverse of the first picture look like? I can't quite figure out what the black shape is. Smiley

Love all the pictures! I tried to pick a favorite, like the bike or the little dock in the water, but then, they are all nice so I couldn't let them get jealous of each other by singling one out. Cheesy

Thank You Mus!

Why thank you. Or, you're welcome? Both? Wait, I got confused. Anyway, here be the positive of the negative.

They have a ton of street views in maps.google.com now.  I found one of the house I lived in when I was
in junior high, and just about every other house I lived in in Houston.

For some reason they have everywhere around me but not where I live. Even the more remote/outlying areas!
