1/320th of a second has got to be the fastest the digital camera can capture. Anything faster has got  to be done with a flash, you would think.

That is definately a great photo-op you took advantage of.

Nice.

That is a great shot from inside your office! That little hummer looks barely green. You wouldn't know what sort of hummingbird it was, would you? We get a lot of them here with brighter green and patches of red. Smiley

Texas humming birds may not be as pretty as Arkansas hummers, but they sure have great personalities.  Thanks, GWiz

Yeah nice shot. It's pretty crazy how fast their wings move. I tried to understand the speed and I think my mind exploded a little.

Was teaching the kids class today and one of the students turns around and has this thing sticking out of his mouth.

It wasn't a joke or something to frighten the teacher. He really was eating a chickens foot.

OMG! This reminds me of eating a traditional dinner with PK at the owner's of Tesco's home.  They served chicken feet!   Of course, we declined the opportunity to try  this  Thai delicacy.   Smiley
Amazing photo thartley, looks like your camera and you are always ready to capture something unusual.  Grin

No, Kitkat....that was PK's camera getting that photo.  I'd still be recovering somewhere if I had seen that up close and personal.   Tongue

Wow, me and PK switch classes for ONE day and look what happens.

When I said I give them treats for winning at Bingo, this is not what I meant.

That's a great shot, I actually want it as my background. Do you have a bigger version?

Beautiful shot Horse!

While driving home from the store on Saturday evening there was a similarly beautiful image in the sky ... I could just kick myself for leaving the camera at home on that trip!

Incredible!!! Thanks for sharing that shot, Horse. You were definitely at the right place, at the right time, with the right camera. Grin

Speaking of, which camera did you use for that photo?

That is absolutely beautiful Horse! I've seen wonderful skies before, but catching them on film is illusive for me, kudos to you! Grin Grin

Yea, but it could use a little more red in the mid-tones. But that's what Photoshop is for. Fixing nature's mistakes. lol Grin

Exactly! Unfortunately, I'm not a PS guru, so this is straight out of the camera. Wink

WOW!!! That looks like the Eye of Sauron from the Lord of the Rings movies.*

Horse, You have some really beautiful sunsets there in Minnesota. And you capture them very well.
