Pookie, the biggest birds I see are buzzards. In a couple of months, there is a lake nearby that swans migrate to, I hope to get there to take some pictures. Thanks for posting the eagles!

Debt-collecting [Singapore style]I think this is one of the few things that could really ruin the reputation of Singapore as a clean environment to live in - this graffiti is a work of the "loan shark" (illegal money loaner), known for their merciless way to collect debt from those who loan from them.. "O$P$" - means "Owe Money Pay Money".. the number below that is probably the contact number of those the sharks are after.. - If this is deemed too offensive, please kindly remove this posting.. thanks

In Norway extortionist AKA Torpedoes are freelance thugs. Norway cracks down on gang activity so, the syndicates hire independent Criminals to scare/collect/retaliate.
But, then again. Norwegian police are known to not give up easily so, becoming a torpedo is not a good career choice if you want to live a relaxing comfortable life.
Sorry, cross cultural crime techniques interest me.

Sounds like a Norwegian "Dog The Bounty Hunter." Telefunk, where are you located in Norway? When I was in Stavanger, I noticed a lot grafitti. It was in Norwegian so I didn't know what it all meant. However, I do know the crime rate is VERY low in Norway. Grafitti is the US is normally used by gangs to mark their territory. So, I can only assume the Norwegian grafitti was welcoming foreigners, giving helpful directions to the locals, or telling foreigners to go home.

Anti American sentiment is written in English. Usually it's just some bored children but, sometimes there is a hammer and sickle or swastika (the smaller the minority the more vocal and desperate to convey their message they are). Norway likes forginers, just not (ignorant) better knowers. Come with a humble and open mind and you will meet a humble and open people . Come with a closed mind and Ignorant sweeping comments you'll get the same only in Norwegian. Just remember Norwegian schools offer advance English from the first grade and up. All our movies are subtitled and many people read english books. So please don't backtalk in my country . But, we love people who broaden their mind through travel as most Natives do in any country.

Soon I will upload my walk home. Featuring park under renovation, residential buildings and state run petrol station. (oh and Norwegian graffiti).
I don't know why I telling you this. But then again the subconscious is vast (or the ego is bigger).

Yikes!! pohui, your lizard was "inside" your workplace? Wow!! He needs to be somewhere more comfortable, hehehe. If he had been in my workplace, he would have scared me to death!! Does something like this happen very often??

More graffiti (though, it's considered a vandalism act here) - the pathway.. scribed on a cement pathway - the pillar that supported the viaduct of the subway - despite the clampdown, it's here to stay (noticed the layer of paint to patch up the old ones?)

I wouldn't consider that graffiti, those are just some tags made by some bored kids. Yes, I draw a fine line between tags and graffiti Street smarts for the win. Whereas those are tags, this is graffiti: See the difference? Graffiti is pretty and in my opinion shouldn't be washed off only to leave an ugly bleach spot on the grey concrete wall.

Hi "Mus"... get the point, i guess our interpretation of graffiti are differenct.. yup I agreed with you that those i posted earlier might be "Tags" (more associated with vandalism).. cheers

Of course that's just my opinion. But for example, they finished building this railroad overpass thing, where a railroad goes over another one, located between my town and Helsinki like a year ago. Since then the pillars have been painted numerous times but they always get removed. The graffitis were pretty nice, too. Big, colorful pictures. They would have looked nice there. But no, they spend money painting them over with unmatching colors leaving the place look more ghetto than with the graffitis. It doesn't make sense to arty me.

Speaker Corner... this place used to be carry hope for the local to "speak out their mind".. but sad to say, with its stringent criteria and some opportunists "spoiling the market".. this signboard is served as a reminder of its initial glory past

That's very sad pohui. Has it been moved to another place? Well, this "speakers' corner" still remains in the same place but it just that the stringent rules there are in place that people felt it's more feasible to spread their views over the net, rather than face-to-face..
