ZeroG, the bluebonnets are so pretty! Here we get big pastures of yellow that your picture reminded me of. I'll try to see if I can find one.

LoL, Lambie, yep, that's goes with KitKat's Moose!

And Jennie, that is a beautiful place you live at! I just wish it was a HUGE picture! Grin

Jennie, I'm so happy you posted more photos.  Seeing just the one was making me want more.  Grin
PK's great paternal grandparents were from Denmark.  So the Gillock's are Scandinavian.  Maybe that's why it bought happy tears when I saw your beautiful photo.  Cheesy  My maiden name is Kirkgard which means Churchyard in Danish.  Cheesy You've probably heard of Soren Kierkegaard, the philosopher?    It's never been clear if my family is a decedent of Kierkegaard, but we like to think so.

Wow, then you definitely have to come and visit! It's in your blood.  Cheesy One of the best things about Scandinavia is that you get the beauty of all the four seasons. Two of the photos above are almost exactly the same but one from summer and one from winter. Quite difficult to determine which one is the most beautiful!

And I will miss Isara! I'll stay online though, so you guys will probably not even notice the difference. Cheesy

I beg to differ. Here (in Finland, hi) it's basically two seasons nowadays. Summer and then a long fwlaingter. A combination of fall, winter and spring. Everything's dead but there's not really any snow. If snow happens to fall it just melts straight away and then you have to walk in this wet goo Sad

On a clear day, this is what I see from my deck.   Cheesy This view faces South, we get the southern breezes this time of the year.

You are right, KitKat, that does look a lot like where I live! I feel almost at home looking at that picture.

Hey Nick, I'm glad you like my photo.  I've tried for the longest time to get a shot of my view,  but the photos all come out too flat.  My Cannon Power Shot A540 doesn't do the view justice.   Smiley  I'm no photographer that's for sure.  Cheesy

This is the North and East side of our home.  My Mexican Oregano is in full bloom now.  It's just about the only plant the deer don't eat!

Hey PK, Dad bought a cowboy hat!!  How do you like it!   He's pretty proud of it.  Grin

You have a nice house. Now I will have to take pictures of my house, although you will have to forgive the landscaping (or lack there of) we just moved in about a year or so ago.

I like the cowboy hat, in fact I have been thinking about getting one myself as of late to help with the sun. I think in Texas it is a little easier to get away with it as they are more common, but the part of California I live in has its fair share of cowboy hat toting residents. I've wanted one ever since I saw "No Country For Old Men" and I was thinking the kind Tommy Lee Jones wore in that film:

Wow, KitKat, that's cool! I have actually had Bob Cats come up to my sliding glass door out here. I can also hear the Coyotes at night across the river.

Nick, keep a camera by the doors, we'll be waiting for pictures of the Bob Cats. Grin

South, near Helsinki. Oh yeah, I have this super awesome picture to show where I'm at.

See? Super awesome, not too detailed at all. Oh what a beautiful name my town has. And yay, I contributed since that shows my neighbourhood. From above but still.

In the north there might be snow but in the south not so much. Darn you, climate change/variation.

Nice, Mus. I have also made note of the fact that you changed your avatar and now have spiderman doing an interpretive/suggestive dance in your signature. Also, I like how you added "variation" after climate change so as not to be biased. Cheesy

He was one his way somewhere, wasn't there very long.  He was just outside my husbands office.  If I'd gone outside he'd probably run off.  There not very aggressive.   But if I'd been outside at the time, it would have freaked me out!

Nick, I'm glad you liked my photo.  We've lived in California  and  experienced the Coyotes, but never saw any Bob Cats there.   We did have some of the largest rattle snakes come into our  backyard.  Shocked

Mus.,  LOL, I need a closer view of your town, my old eyes aren't that good.
