And these of the incredible sunset.... makes me want to cry that we get such works of art every night and so few of us stop to notice.  Sooooo beautiful...

These are tiny waves that are really no more than ripples when they wash up on the sand.

I made you jealous with the barn, is that it? Then you have to post stuff like sunsets and ocean water? If you don't watch out, I'll post some cows. Cheesy

And I'll post some wild turkeys, goats and deer. WhoHoo!!  Grin

My grandkids, who live in a big city, came this weekend and I was telling them about our wild turkey's and silver foxes that roam our property and they weren't the bit impressed or excited. Sad  The youngest is 10 yrs. old and she may have been a little excited, but with her older brother (14) and sisters (13) not showing any excitement, she quickly toned down. Grin

Ming visited her family recently. Here's some photos from around her house.

This is Ming teaching me what a Jack Fruit is.

This is me teaching Ming's nephew what a Jack Fruit is.

These are water buffaloes (one albino) walking back home.

This is a baby that never smiles. Sad

I learned about Jack Fruit from someone from Nepal. He said the scariest thing! The Jack Fruit get as big as watermelons and fall from the trees! Can you imagine walking down the road and a watermelon falling from the sky??!! Lol! That's why I'm staying away from Thailand, a fear of Jack fruit! Cheesy

Thanks for the neighborhood pictures, PK! I like the water buffalo walking down the road the most, but enjoyed all of them. Smiley

The crab is awesome! So clear! And the sand is so white! Now confess, did you bring the flowers and candles to the beach or are they leftovers from some crazy in love ceremony?

As for the gull and smoke! That's a 'caption this photo!'

Your photos are amazing. Grin
I love the textures and colors with the candles on the sand, capturing the beautiful sharp colors and the light of the candles. Awesome!!
The gull with the smoke is hilarious! Grin

The candles are my own.  They are usually in my bathroom, but I've wanted to use them in a photo for a while, for a special photo for someone.  The flowers were already there.  I gotta say, there were some very crazy things washing up on the beach yesterday...while I was there, I saw a whole honeydew melon come barrelling out of a wave like a bowling ball!  I had to stand there blinking a few times for it to register what it was, it was so strange.  I took a picture (of course) and kept on walking, only to see a whole mango wash up next.  LOL!!!  The poor seagulls wanted so badly to crack these "shells" and eat whatever was on the inside but they couldnt figure it out. haha!!!

The crab seems to be a crowd favorite.   Grin   He was certainly ready to do battle, and he was so tiny!  When I walked up, he was being pecked by a gull who was trying to break and enter and eat.  So I scared off the gull but the little guy still wanted to fight.

Saw this tree being uprooted on my way to work yesterday..

Heavy showers happened for the past few days in Singapore since the start of the year.

What a drag... Tongue

Shocked It's always sad to see a tree uprooted. That must have been some wind/rain storm. Sad

Pohui, you always have the most festive looking shots of the shopping plazas there!  The lights and colors are so bright and vibrant.  Our malls only get that treatment during the Christmas season.

All the lights remind me of "Finding Nemo" when they are bouncing through the all the tentacles trying not to get zapped by electricity. Cheesy
