This is the concrete smiley that has greeted me on the worst days of my life. I'd go to the beach to walk and clear my head, and my head would always be down. This ALWAYS makes me smile.

trust me, after the first hour, I was ill! Only one bottle of water. Hot. Bugs. Spider webs. My daughter swinging a stick in an effort to help clear the way only to come within inches of smacking me in the face.

What a beautiful neck of the woods to live in. *sigh* I love the beach. :/ One day, I'm going to buy an RV, kick my kids to the curb, and become a Winter Texan, living on Padre Island for four months of the year. Thanks for the pics, Terri, but please take it easy too. After your doctor says it's okay to work, then you can take off for fun days. |

I know I should probably be taking it a little easier than I have been, but the drs told me to let my body be the gauge and to listen to when it says to stop. Just DONT LIFT ANYTHING. I have been cooped up in the house so much lately that I just cant help getting outside when the opportunity comes up. Also, at the beach, we were having our annual \"Springing in the Blues\" festival. Tons of people, music, and food. Then there are the free movies they show at an outdoor pavillion...just bring your cooler and blanket. The one theater they have out at the beach offers free movies and popcorn at midnight shows. And there is even a comedy club.  I want to move back out there!!!!!!! |
