You're good!

Yes, that spells Sprite in Thai and on the other side it has the English version. We should have a game where I place a different product in front of the webcam and people must guess what it is.

What do you think?

OOOOO, I wonder if cookie elves in Thailand are related to the Keebler elves. Hmmm. Do you think they immigrated to Thailand or from Thailand to America? Do you think the Keebler elves have ties to the mafia? Hmmmmmm. Shallow thoughts... Smiley

In my opinion, maybe it's a culture difference thing. Everything is very confusing and complicated in Thailand.

Place Jacques-Cartier
Hey, since we're talking about webcams here's two from Montreal, my city.  The first shows a square in the Old Port that tourists like to visit.  It's got lots of caricaturists and street entertainers in the summertime.

Penguins
The second apparently shows the penguins at the Biodome, the closest thing we have to a zoo here.  I haven't actually seen any yet, as it's nighttime.  Smiley

Ack! I didn't save the magic crackers, instead I posted the webcam link, so the above picture will now change to whatever updated picture is posted. D'oh!

So now is this some sort of Orange throat lonzenge? Are you sick??

Lambie, thanks for the webcams. Smiley I got to see the penguins, how cute!  Cheesy

Now this is interesting. Your refrigerator is the infamous avacodo green. And it's taller than I imagined. Is this green craze just now hitting Thailand? Do they need any big mushrooms to decorate with? I think I saw some at a flea market last week. Those wacky 60s decorations!

Now...as glad as I am to see actual evidence that you are alive (I assume that's your elbow)...I must protest. It's been since Friday that you last changed the pictures... And weeks since you did an outdoor shot! Maybe for thartley's sake, even though it's after midnight, just take a picture of a plant or bowl of water, so she can smell the Lao's River. Jing jing.

ok. ok. I'll get to work on a better webcam setup. Grin  But, for now, there's an updated shot of some water. Bottled water. Wouldn't want to drink the Mekong water.

This photo was taken yesterday when I visited a small village about 35 miles outside of Nong Khai. It rained real hard for about an hour. The man in the photo took an umbrella to the lady so she could walk home.

I'll be going back there tomorrow to teach English at two different schools. I'll take an umbrella this time. Smiley
