Wow! What a great idea Hoodedmann! Grin

I want to make sure the instructions are clear for people who haven't visited your website before.

First, we visit arnoudforyou.com
Second, we use a contact link to submit a story about traveling, something inspirational and when we send you the story, do we need to include that we saw your donation offer on Isara?

I went ahead and took the survey. I love how it told me "Thank You! You Rock!" Cheesy Grin Grin Thank you for the donation to Isara!

Hola Ginafish Smiley

Easiest is to take a quick look at the following FAQ:

http://www.arnoudforyou.c...inspiring-submission.html

You'll see it's quite simple in fact. "Interesting / good" submissions are rewarded with US$2, which either goes to your paypal account OR to ISARA!!!

Last week some volunteers helped the Isara Learning Center build a Paytong Court (a popular game played around here). The court was completed a few days ago and it looks great!

Thanks to Isawa, Ming, Moe, and Nan for all their help.

Bocce! That's what it is. Thank you! I've been trying to find the English name of that game.

So you like to play Bocce (Paytong)? Then I guess I need to practice some more before you get here.

Yep, you've been warned Grin

Thought I would throw in these photos.  We had just come down from the mountain after 4 days and somehow stumbled upon this outside Caracas Venezuela.  These guys were incredible.

Since we stopped allowing the students to play computer games we've been trying to find more outdoor activities for them to do (before and after class). So today we splurged a little and bought a (drum roll please).... PING PONG TABLE!!!

Along with Ping Pong the students will be able to play paytong, darts (magnetic), badminton, frisbee (thanks to Sean), and card games too.

We're thinking about having a paytong and ping pong competition to get more people from the community familiar with the Isara Learning Center. What do you think?

I think it's the first time I haven't seen Moosejaw on Sean. Cheesy

Great idea to get a community competition going, just as long as helmets aren't the prize for first place. Grin There is a such thing as overkill. No, really.

Grin Great idea and congratulations on your new Ping Pong table and new games. Thanks Sean for the Frisbees, the students will have lots of fun. What's the word for Frisbee in Thai? Smiley

Sean, you look like you're an experienced Ping Pong player. Cheesy

I can hold my own at Ping Pong Grin  However I just can't seem to beat Sam the tall guy playing me in the last picture...He is VERY good.  We have some epic matches though.

Ginafish...Look closer, that is also a moosejaw shirt LOL Smiley

Kitkat...We were trying to figure that out too but we don't tink they have a word.  I think they are going to adopt "Frisbee".

Wow that ping pong table looks like fun!  have the kids settled down more since we stopped letting them play computers before class?  Frisbee sounds like it would be difficult for Thais to pronounce.  I think that ping pong and frisbee tournament sounds like a great idea.

Today we did a mass ILC cleanup and got our new game room (the garage) up and running.  Sam and Nok came by and did an awesome job Smiley.  Here are some pictures for today.

***DISCLAIMER***  PK claims that the dartboard was only available in one color. Grin

It must be nice to be able to ask volunteers to come by and clean your place up! Cheesy My house is due for a spring cleaning...

for the photos (and layout) and volunteering!

And that's just SNAzzy! I hope after PK throws a dart he turns and gives you his jazz hands!

Ha! LOL Grin

Note: We need to make an amendment to the scoreboard photo. A moment ago I beat Sean in Ping Pong so now I am #2 on the list. Grin  Sorry for boasting but it's one of the fringe benefits of winning. lol

Game on!
