Oh, and will there be time between songs to spout out a quick "Ginafish dedicates this to her kids"? in between songs?

Thanks for all the info, KitkKat. Grin I'll make sure I get on a strict diet plan, before and during the event.

Ginafish - We'll have some time between songs to say a few things. Usually the lyrics don't kick-in for at least 30 seconds into a song. And some songs have an instrumental section in the middle when I can do some kind of an "Elvis" monologue and I can thank my "momma" and every one listening.

Cheesy PK, you're most welcome!   Cheesy  Drinks lots of warm water, which you already do everyday.    Cheesy   I know it's hot there and warm water doesn't sound very appealing, but trust me iced cold water isn't good for your vocals.

The old picture was more like "I have no dignity and I don't like it". This one's more "I don't have any dignity but who cares?". Also, this picture matches the Isara Man in the lower right corner. It's like a reverse version. Symmetry is cool.

Grin I love the new promo photos.  You look excited for the attempt!   I'm proud of you for stepping outside your comfort zone to help Isara.    You are tenacious and what a great quality to have for Isara.  Grin

G wiz e-mailed a friend,  a professional voice teacher in our town, and she had some advice we wanted to pass on to you.

Drink lots of water to keep your vocal cords moist and to keep your vocal volume low and let the mic do almost all of the work and  caffeine should be avoided.  I know you do not drink anything with caffeine so that shouldn't be a problem for you.  She wished you Good Luck!!
She also said you may suffer from hoarseness afterwards for several months,  so take it easy.

Good Luck!!

Thanks, pohui! Do people in Singapore like to sing karaoke? What about you?

We have a really rough edit of the video right now and ,unfortunately, it's running 2:30 minutes long. We wanted it to be under two minutes so we're going to have to cut some of the jokes. I'll work on some graphics for it today and then later the students will help us by being extras in one or two scenes. Sean will also be making a cameo appearance.

PK, did you get the cardboard cutout of me in time for MY cameo appearance? Cheesy Oh, and do you think you can throw together a Director's cut with all the jokes exclusively for us members who have always been behind this from the get go? Or maybe for everyone... Undecided

Ha!  This afternoon was hysterical!  We finished up the shoot (unless PK wants to get some do-overs) and it was crazy!  Funny crazy!  I dont want to spoil anything, but I can tell you that it was one teenage boy's first time coming to the ILC and he was pretty much "recruited" into being involved.  It was so chaotic!  He was probably thinking "What in the HECK kind of English school is THIS?!"

Sorry it took so long to finish the video. Just couldn't stop making changes to it. We had to cut a lot of the jokes to keep the running time down. But if you all like it then we'll put together a blooper reel and put in there some of the jokes we had to cut.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/pC1lf0XsGdw&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/pC1lf0XsGdw&rel=1</a>

Thank you to thartley for helping with the script and for withstanding the boiling temperatures of the ILC during midday. Also, thank you to all the volunteers and students who helped make this video possible. They worked really hard and never complained about the heat. As you'll soon see, the video wouldn't have been possible without everyone's help.

So every time we type "ha ha ha", it internally translates to 5 5 5 to a native Thai speaker?? Cheesy That's funny!!
