Immediately following the breaking of the world record, the local paper in Wimberley, Texas printed an article. I witnessed this! and I requested 'Journey' over and over" which I did not.  |

That was a good article!
I think the actual name of the record breaking song was "My Humps" by The Blackeyed Peas.
I told the paper in Conroe/Willis (where PK went to school) about the record. I don't know if they
have talked to him yet.

I sent a link to that along with a brief email to my local news station morning anchor (who, incidentally, has agreed to have me on the show when I get back to the states). It usually takes a few days to hear back from them, so I will let you all know.

Aug 1 was a momentous date for Isara. We will be sending the documentation off very soon to Guinness for their review and approval, and the news coverage is an added bonus for us. I think the local news people want to do a follow up interview with PK and we are still getting contacted by papers in the states. Only time will tell how many decide to run stories, post-event. The more the merrier, though! Also, we'll be posting some photos from the event in this thread as soon as they are avail. |
