The Internet, like most things that start out with good intentions, seems to have been exploited and converted into a cash cow for major corporations. The sharing of information and ideas has been pushed aside to make way for this.
The entire Internet has become saturated with Google and their AdSense program. We find websites using Google search and then view Google ads once we arrive at our destination. Every move we make makes Google richer and stronger. Our dependency on them is dangerous.
How it works: Websites sign-up to the AdSense program and then place code on their web pages. Google AdSense then scans the web page for content and places "relative" ads on the site. If a visitor clicks the ad then the website makes money. Sounds nice, doesn't it?
Well it was, ...for a while.
Unfortunately, our vision became clouded with $$$$ and the landscape of the Internet has changed. Now hundreds of thousands of websites have popped up trying to cash in on Google AdSense. These websites have created millions of pages of junk content, cluttering the Internet, specifically targeting high dollar Google ads. They place tons of ads on their site, disguise ad links as actual content, and they purposely place certain keywords in content so big dollar Google ads will be shown. This altering of the content for financial gain hurts all of us because content (and search results) can no longer be trusted when there's money involved.
Google AdSense has become Non-Sense.In an attempt to provide an alternative to their "money focused" system, Isara has announced the beginning of the
Isara MakeSense program. Webmasters who wish to make a difference will be given the opportunity to place small text links on their website. As always, everything that Isara makes will go to create more charity projects in developing countries. (Nobody will make a dime from this ad program.)
Note: Isara was a member of the AdSense program but, as of today, we have officially removed all AdSense code from our site. This means your Google searches will no longer benefit the less fortunate but your visits to Isara are what really count. In the future all of Isara's charity revenue will come from its own ads so please keep visiting.
