What the...?  Happiness is hanging out in the pool watching movies on the big screen with friends.  Happy Gilmore was the movie we watched, but the disc was scratched right at the end, so we put on Pluto Nash. That's a good movie.  |

Happiness is going through your circumstnaces, but with great strength and faith, knowing you will be alright. Yes, it is easier said than done to be happy through such difficult times, but you can choose to stay down, allow your temporary circumstances to determine your tomorrow and you not move forward or persevere standing tall, by DOING IT AFRAID, and facing tomorrow as a new beginning.

Yesterday in my shop a young boy, 9 yrs. old, came into my shop with his mom and I showed him photos of the work Isara is doing, and he immediately pulled out his wallet and put $3 of change in Isara's donation jar. I told him that with his donation he just made a difference in a young child's life in Thailand and he raised his arms in the air and said "I just made a difference!". Good job! Jessie, you're a great guy! You've definitely made a big difference.

Good suggestion, PK. I'll do it the next time! Another interesting thing about this young boy was his birthday was the day after yours, June 26th! We'll miss you 4th of July. I just know you'll tell your students about America's July 4th celebration. Freedom's Birthday!

Stopping by a friend's house on the way home from a grueling day at work, and having that friend cook you dinner. I relaxed in a big oversized comfy chair while David cooked dinner, and I messed with one of his son's acoustic guitars while the son played Beatles tunes on the electric. We put a birthday surprise box together for a close friend serving in Iraq, and watched Two and a Half Men on tv. Great way to spend a Thursday night! |
