51  The Fun Stuff / Music & Concerts / Re: Theremin Music on: 05/26/08 09:25 AM
If you guys have any audio software, you can download a free Theremin plugin here:
http://www.spacenoah.com/...reevstplugin-theremin.htm

It's awesome. It's really easy to create your own Theremin music without spending a ton of cash.
52  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: This Day In History on: 05/24/08 09:51 PM
So you are like a Horse-George LucasFilms Films?

Yep, but I make crappy movies that nobody cares about. Wink
53  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: This Day In History on: 05/23/08 04:45 PM
I watched Halloween when I was 5 and I turned out okay... sort of. Tongue

Gina- Just keep your son away from Episodes I-III and he'll be fine.   Grin Take it from me, I have the same birthday as George Lucas, so that makes me an expert, right? Wink
54  The Fun Stuff / Music & Concerts / Re: Care for any Metallica? on: 05/18/08 08:48 AM
I hope they do something like Master of Puppets or And Justice for All... but sadly that'll never happen.
55  The Fun Stuff / TV & Movie Talk / Re: Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia on: 05/12/08 08:16 AM
I picked up the first two seasons of this and it's unbelievably funny.
56  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: Bunny Suicides on: 05/12/08 08:15 AM
I love these things. Allison has had the books around here for a long time.

Interesting stuff, wonder if these apply to the UK,

Here's the information for the UK photographers among us:

I shot a TMBG concert in Chicago about 7 years ago. They're fun. Smiley
59  Help Center / Consumer Protection / Re: Rechargeable Batteries on: 04/27/08 10:36 AM
I can't say enough good things about low self discharge batteries (Sanyo Eneloop, Rayovac Hybrid, etc.). They're great. I use them for just about everything that uses AA and AAA batteries. It's so much cheaper than using alkaline batteries and they actually perform better and longer.

For instance, I can get about 50-80 shots on my digital camera while using alkaline batteries. With my Duracell "Pre-charged" NiMH batteries, I can take several hundred and they still show a full battery meter on my camera's display.
60  Help Center / Consumer Protection / Re: Cruise Control on: 04/27/08 10:25 AM
This is true. Living in Minnesota, I've become very used to driving in bad conditions. While driving in snow, sometimes the only way to regain control as you start to slide is to let up on the gas slightly. It's a delicate balance that cruise control screws up.

I hang out with (and sometimes play guitar and bass) with these guys:

I guess it's a good thing that I don't have kids. Grin
63  The Fun Stuff / TV & Movie Talk / Re: Ninja Warrior on: 04/19/08 06:10 PM
I actually like the women's competition better. It's more geared toward speed and agility. Ayako Miyake is the queen, having won three consecutive tournaments.

64  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: If you have time on: 04/18/08 07:54 PM
Ah, I see. I wonder what YOUR BOSS will think when I tell him about this.

That if they don't stop scaring customers away (thus allowing me the time to do this), they would be in much better shape? Grin
65  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: If you have time on: 04/18/08 12:11 PM
Well, not this exact link, but the Minneapolis Star Tribune has the same crosswords on their website.

I wouldn't hold out on ya. Grin
66  The Fun Stuff / Sports & Hobbies / Re: Watermelon Kegger on: 04/18/08 11:45 AM
Well, you don't HAVE to spike it

68  The Fun Stuff / TV & Movie Talk / Re: Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia on: 04/18/08 11:38 AM
hulu.com has some episodes, but you'll have to wait until you get back to the US to watch them.
69  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: T-shirt on: 04/17/08 07:00 AM
Ginafish, this looks like a fun thread!  Grin
Here's my first one! http://www.cafepress.com/laundryday

Citing the "5-second rule," Joey ran over and began licking the asphalt.
72  The Fun Stuff / Random Fun Stuff / Re: $2 Bills on: 04/12/08 05:27 PM
I work at a bank, so I get sick of the sight of them. Grin
73  The Fun Stuff / TV & Movie Talk / Re: Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia on: 03/29/08 01:06 PM
Sadly, I've only seen a couple episodes, but I've loved what I've seen. I'm going to have to buy the DVDs.
74  The Fun Stuff / Announcements / Re: Isara Retreat/Celebration on: 03/28/08 11:07 PM
