I'm excited about seeing the ILC expand, the roof being fixed, and the kids moving to an indoor classroom! Can't wait to see pictures! Maybe a live webcam for the first class?? ;D ;D
Just uploaded some new photos of the renovation, if you want to take a look!

:)
I'm so excited seeing these photos I can hardly stand it!! WhoHoo!! Everything is looking great! The added space is wonderful! ;D ;D
I'm so excited to see these pictures too!! However, some of the pictures make me want to scream, "Get down from there young man! Ting Tong Farang with flip flops on!! (say that ten times fast) :D
Can't wait to see the chairs and posters and everything inside! The roof looks great, the walls look great, everything looks greEEaAT!
The painting is almost complete and the new playground equipment arrived today!!!
Still a lot more to do though.
- Make the storage room door taller (we keep bumping our heads).
- New gutters that connect to a water tank (will start in 10 days).
- A pier for the back (should start any day now).
- Landscaping (yesterday we planted ivy to help hide our neighbors walls and today Gik/Guk's father helped clear the side yard of weeds and trash).
Once everything is complete we'll have a 2-3 day English camp. Can't wait!!
:D Thank you sooooo much for the photos. What a difference you've made with the new addition to the learning center. :D It looks AMAZING!! Have the storage room and the pier been completed? :D
Huge project and Great job!!! ;D
Thank you PK soooooo much for the pictures. The renovation looks AMAZING!! What a difference you're making. The students will love the new addition. I'd love to see a photo of the storage room, if possible. I also see part of the pier you had rebuilt. Any photos of it would be appreciated too.
Is that "Son of a Tuk Tuk Driver" next to last on the right? ;D
Nope. He's a new student so I don't know who he's the son of. ;D
;D I wish I had kept a scrapbook of the regular students.
Will both adult and children's classes be held in the new "annex"? I really LOVE the white ceiling tiles. Did you ever find a matching ceiling fan (like the one in the entryway)?

PK, I know you are not a Dad, in the biological sense, but making kids do something 'for their own good' is definitely father-like. Actually, the qualifications to be a biological father are pretty low, stuff like this is what real fathers are made of. Good going Isara!

Yeah, PK has a lot of children. :D :D
There were only a few kids that didn't wear a helmet today so our rules is working.
Hope next class every one will wear a helmet. Teenagers are the hard one to teach.
But we are seeing their progress so hopefully daddy PK will make another difference to happen to the kids with our assistant. :)

You're right PK, having Isara set new school rules about wearing helmets sets a good example for other schools to follow. In time, this rule could spread to other countries with the same motorcycle accident problems. :D Go Isara!! ;D
Isara is making great progress with helmet education. ;D

Ginafish, ;D who is that guy? I don't recognize him. ;D Have I missed something? ;D

Rob Schneider had a character on Saturday Night Live who would always give nicknames to people coming to use the copier by his desk. :D Just popped in my head when Ming called Kirk "Daddy Pk". ;D

Thanks Ginafish, ;D that explains it. I'm never awake late enough to see SNL. PK will know exactly who he is and have a good laugh. ;D

Ah yes...the "Makin' copies" guy.

How's the pier coming along? Any updated pictures to show us? ;D

The pier is beautiful!! Even playing tag with the mosquitoes would be nice in such a pretty environment. :D
I'm so glad the helmet rule is working too! Maybe if they get into a habit for coming to the ILC, they'll get into the habit when they get on their moped everyday? ;D WoohOo!!

The pier is so beautiful! It was so smart to put a roof and railings on the pier. Great job designing the pier.
I can see you and Ming relaxing on the pier after dinner, during the cooler months, enjoying the lush greenery. Even having a picnic on the pier. :D Of course, bug spray will always be your friend. ;D ;D
Thank you Veera for all your help clearing out the swamp growth. :D
