Isara Art Class

    Here are some pictures from the newly established art class at Isara. First up was a collage to make an Isara sign. Next class involved some work with crayons to make pictures, i'm sure Elva will explain it better!

    Next up was making some cut out dragons (thanks for the supplies mum!) I forgot to take a group photo at the end of class :-(

    Thank you Jan's mom for the supply. Elva and Jan you are great at art. This is so cool guys. I love to see kids enjoying art. It's really open their vision of being more creative and imagination. Nice job, love it! :)

    The Isara logo sign is AWESOME!! Very creative! I love the Dragons! They're amazing! I huge thank you to Jan's mom for the art supplies! :) I'm a creative person, so I love it when the students are able to celebrate their creative talents. :) Great job everyone!

    That's so cool! The projects look great! I'm so happy to see a newly established art class, and hope I can help out when I get there in January. :D

    Art Class 9th December 2010. Today we made some lanterns to go on the Isara Christmas tree and also coloured in some pictures to decorate the classroom. Hopefully next week the kids will make their own Christmas trees! :-) Kan and Pat hard at work making their lanterns Decorating the Isara Christmas tree. The tree with all the lanterns. One happy art class!! Next we got the children to do some colouring in and decorate their paper trees. Bam hard at work! The finished trees!

    One happy art class? The girl on the end with her arms crossed would beg to differ! :D And I LOVE the dinosaur Christmas tree! Very original :)

    Andi and I took over the art class for this week. Continuing the Christmas theme, the students created little paper boxes and cut-out stars/angels to hang on the tree. We also made some paper chains to be used as decorations! Here are some of the pics! It was great fun! Thanks for organising today's class and asking me to join you Andi! :)

    Wooooo ! thanks guys the tree looks great !!!!!!! and i think the volunteers look like they're having as much fun as the kids hee.

    Thanks for putting the photos up James and thanks for your help-especially with the glitter clean up job!!! I always forget just how much kids like glitter and just how much mess it makes!! They had fun and I did too so it was all worth it!

    Sign that Christmas this year will be so amazing and delighting. Wish i could be there too.
    The room with all the art works look amazing and i can see how much the kids love it. Thanks James for the photos and thanks to all our volunteers who puts their heart in to it. I'm watching that and i can feel the heart connected to me in Bkk. :)

    Thanks guys for taking over the class while we were in Laos. We will be doing the class this week and after that I hope it continues for a long time to come. Good job everyone.

    There was no art class today because we will be making cards with the kids tomorrow during the party. Hope this class continues after we leave. Good luck everyone.

    Thank you Jan and Elva for starting art class with isara. My nephew school truck drove by some place with Christmas tree and he tried to draw it out to show my Mom today. Kids always love art. :)

    The art class has been a big success. The kids love it! And I think we found another volunteer to take over the class. Vania arrived today and she's a graphic designer. She said she'd love to help with the art class. :-)
