hopefully I'll get my graphics cards in today so I can finish up my video encoders and then add them to the list of full timers on the board. I know I can never catch ol' ZeroG, but heck, a guy can try. ;D

We just had our best 24 hours yet. Nearly 10,000 points!!!! And we averaged more than 5,000 per day.

I think it's because Stasven is back and RichLee added some more machines. Not to mention all the folding everyone has been doing.

Keep on Folding!! We should hit a million points in a few months. ;D

    That's great, Stasven. ;D

Looks like somebody likes Mac. Maybe you can help Ginafish. She and her Mac are completing a Work Unit about every two years (or every time the webcam is updated - which ever comes soonest). lol

What's up with Macs and their inability to Fold? :(

Oh well, your PS3 more than makes up for the Macs.

Looks like it has better things to do. But those PS3s definately have their priorities in order.

Stasven, I really need to know, can you see a 3d rendering of the actual protein folding on your PS3?
Yessir. I get a choice of three different views, big balls, sticks, or sticks and balls. (does that in any way seem kinda suss?)  :o

Just wanted to announce a few things.

    - Stasven has completed more than 250 Work Units.
    - RichLee is about to hit the 200 Work Unit mark.
    - Hunter has completed 100 Work Units.
    - mercellusb should finish his 50th Work Unit very soon.
    - thartley is about to complete her 25th Work Unit.
    - Team Isara.org has completed more than 5,000 Work Units!

Also, because of everyone's efforts, Isara is about to enter the TOP 1,000!!! That doesn't seem like a big deal. But when you consider there are more than 77,000 teams in the world, it becomes a big deal. And it wouldn't have been possible without all of you donating your CPUs to help find cures. Thank you very much.

    Keep Folding ;D

That's cool, looks like there's a new person already. By the way, I made a modified banner for the Isara Folding@home page if you'd like to use it:

I usually have my PS3 running Folding@Home 24 hours a day but recently I've been using it to entertain. We had family up here so I was screening movies, and earlier we put some SD cards into it and watched a slideshow of the week while some music was playing. It's a pretty cool machine. :)

Why hasn't Stasven's points increased in a day? A. Someone has turned off Stasven's PS3. B. He got a work unit the size of Ginafish C. He has really been playing a lot of games.
I've been using it recently for movies now that I've lent my PS2 & DVD Player to other rooms for my family. By the way, I just got a message that an update is now being downloaded for my PS3's Folding@home. :)

It was fun helping out with the folding@home thing, but I'm gonna have to give it a pass now with my PS3. Firstly, I want to play games on it, also it's great for music and movie playback. Secondly, it's been running almost non-stop since I've got it, I wanna give it a break and shut it down when I'm not using it.
