I somehow came across ISARA while surfing the web and don't remember where, but I am glad I did.  What a great idea!  I'll be sure to mention it to friends and co workers.  My Christmas shopping will be done here as well.  If anyone has the chance and would like a good book Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson is a great read.  Greg Mortenson got lost on the way down from K2 and was nursed back to health and safety by a Pakistani village.  He promised them he would build them a school, and instead built over 50 schools.  Glad the internet is finally doing some good for the world :) http://www.threecupsoftea.com/
Thutton- Welcome to Isara!  We have a book section in the forum if you want to post a topic about Three Cups of Tea.  I'm a big reader and love to choose things based on recommendations by other people. Thanks for posting, and thanks for the reminder to do the Christmas shopping thru our Amazon link.  :)

Hi there, I'm Lil Jimmy. I stumbled upon Isara August 2006, according to the message board thread. I saved it as my homepage right away, since I had the boring ol Firefox default homepage (the one with google?). I figured I might as well chat on the forums once in a while :D About myself: I'm 15 (16 in Jan), I live in Ottawa, Ontario, I only listen to heavy metal, but also just a few bands (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Demons & Wizards and a wee bit of Hammerfall) and I enjoy playing computer games. I am a fairly hardcore PC gamer (I'm even subscribed to PC Gamer :o), and being a hardcore PC gamer means I am totally against consoles, since PCs are superior in every way. But I guess that debate is best for some other time ^_^

Hey Lil Jimmy. Thanks for introducing yourself. Always nice to see a new name on the message boards and I hope to see you around more often.

P.S. I saw Judas Priest in concert about 15 years ago.  8)

Hi there Jimmy, you've been a member for over a year? Thank you for exploring the forum and introducing yourself! You are a way hardcore gamer, eh? If you look through the 'what are you listening to' thread, you'll find some other heavy metal listeners, who are also gamers, which leads me to believe you came here through GTA Forums. :D Thanks for joining, posting, and we are happy to see ya. :D

Doesn't that just make you feel so very old? He was like just born back when you saw them. Yes and hi Jimmy, I love you on South Park. Also, I too like metal and I'm not much older than you so basically we're soulmates and should get married.

PK: I'm waiting for a new tour, I check their website almost daily, even though the tour page hasn't been updates in two years. They're working on a new album, according to Wikipedia, and it should be released in 2008, so I'm expecting (hoping) for a tour...

ZeroG: I've never heard of Queensryche =/ I'll be sure to check them out.

KitKat: Yes, I think I'll be a regular there :o

Ginafish: No, in fact, I was not led by GTAForums, someone randomly posted a thread on newgrounds.com, and it just so happened that I was there at the right time.

Mus: Sorry, I got already got married a few years ago to someone on the internets. I forget her name, and I think she, too, was a few years older than me. It's not a very serious marriage, though, since I haven't spoken to her in about 3-4 years, and I forget her name.

    Whew.

Dammit, there goes my chance for eternal love. But I respect it, knowing how serious Interwebz-relationships are.

    Hi, I'm juici.

I found this site after searching another way to play znax.

After searching many sites I fell in love with this one as highscores were recoreded AND bonus to me it had another bunch of games I quickly became addicted too.

I am a stay at home mom in the Toronto area...I have 5 kids (21, 19, 18, 17 and 9), and my computer is literally my way of keeping in touch with the outside world, and of course my form of relaxation/entertainment.

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome! One of my teens is also hooked on the games on this site, her nic is punk_tinkerbell.
    :)

I really haven't played blocks much yet KitKat...but, hmmm...let me try it out a bit first! lol

Sorry Ginafish!  When you play znax again try working the outside corners and break the game board down to two sections...that way as you are working the outside corners hopefully you will clear the board as one move or at least in two moves.

Again, thanks for the welcome and look forward to chatting with all of you more.

I'm still trying to search the site and take it all that it offers.  WOW!  What a world of information right here on isara at my fingertips.

Honestly, I first came to this site seeking znax ... but, I have quickly learned that there is so much more here and I am loving it!

How exactly does my activity on this site help?

I'm sure posted here in the many threads my answer lies, but I keep getting side tracked by other topics.

If someone could please give me an overview or point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Betty! We're all glad he decided to volunteer too and I look forward to meeting him very soon.

If you want you can use this website to keep in touch with him. We'll be uploading photos and stories of the various projects he'll be doing. My Mom (KitKat) and I communicate via PM (personal messages) every day. It's better than e-mail. The link is at the top right corner of the website.

Thanks for registering and for showing your support.

P.S. The picture you use of the dog holding 3 tennis balls reminds me of our old golden retriever that could do that. lol
