Yep, happiness is getting your six year old Civic with 95,000+ miles on it back from the shop to find it drives like a hovercraft! Loving it! :woohoo:

Happiness is rediscovering things that bring you joy. Having the wisdom befitting my age, and the options of those who are half my age. ;D Feels like I'm cheating on a test! ;D

Happiness is spending quality time with my son on his B'day.
The #3 son that lives 10,000 miles away. Happy, happy day!:P
Oooops, I hope his two brothers aren't jealous!!!! Please don't be. :silly: :silly:

Putting a diet coke in the freezer and remembering to take it out just in time for it to be perfectly icy on the inside but not so much that it explodes when you open it. That perfect balance of liquid and ice. YUM!!!!
Inversely, its not a very happy moment when you dont remember you put it in the freezer until the next morning. :pinch:

Happiness is knowing that it's only 2 more months until temperatures are almost always under 100 degrees F.

Happiness is having a heavy rain. :) Texas is in a serious drought. :( :(
August 11, 2006 6:18 AM PDT
Preach On Women! Praise the Rain! WooHOO! We are getting a little shower this morning, minus thunder and lightening, so we may go out and splash in the mud puddles in a bit. :) YIPPEE!
Happiness is splashing in mud puddles during a heat wave. :)

 I'm so jealous of all the rain you guys are having.
:side: I want to jump in some mud puddles too. :P The only mud puddles I see are the ones created by my sprinkler system. I've had to cut back on watering my plants, we're on a well and some people have had their wells go dry. I'm being very conservative with my water usage. I know, rain will come soon, it always does. But, I'm not holding my breath.;)
Edit: I'm sorry I forgot this is a \"happiness is\" thread.
I'll just end it with a :P.
Yes, that'll do it. :)

Okay, rain for Mom, already! Ginasfish, get out your four leaf clover and sprinkle the fairy dust! It sure helped me.
oh, and Happiness is...getting off work early on a Friday!!! :woohoo:

Happiness is my mom's whole flower bed dying so she had to till it all up. Then sneaking around the water restrictions for 10 minutes to create a big mud puddle. Then watching my kids turn brown from head to toe by jumping in the mud. :) I never said mud puddles came easy. :)
Happiness is sometimes allowing yourself to be naughty, just a little.

Having a full staff at the office...
August 17, 2006 5:35 AM PDT
Happiness is.....
...Leaving work early because you miss your spouse.
...The ability to shut your office door when you're having \"one of those days\"
...Finding out that there really are more stars in the country than in the city.
...Knowing how true J.M. Barrie was when he wrote \"Memories are given so that we might have roses in December.\"
...Being able to find some place, Like Isara, where you can be yourself and feel good.
...knowing there are people who love you.
...being able to tell people how you really feel about them.
...the ability to love your friends, no matter what stupid thing they may do.
...the ability to admit you screwed up.
......realizing that, in fact, life is like a box of chocolates. Now because you never know what you're going to get, I mean most have a map now days, but knowing that every box is going to have something you don't want, something you love, and lots you can share with those close to you.
