Webpost 101

  • With everything that the volunteers do, it can be difficult to offer ex-volunteers and others Isara friends and family updates on the day-to-day happenings.  However, we do love to see them.  Perhaps a quick web post before dinner?  I know the biggest turn off for many boils down to "what do I write?" So, I've thought about what I would be most interested in reading and number them below.  Feel free to add others.

    1. Funny things that the students do or say

    2. Student achievements

    3. Creative teacher approaches/techniques

    4. Interesting volunteer-volunteer or volunteer-staff interactions

    5. Particularly interesting experience in Nong Khai (i.e., trying crickets for the first time :D)

For instance, this past week I had the entertaining experience of purposely not replying to the memorized "I am fine. Thank you.  And you?" only to observe that the child continued walking not realizing that the "And you?" was a prompt for a reply. 555  Keep on doing the good work that you all are :)

Zero G Those are great Josh. I would write my update and upload my pictures in the morning before everyone woke up. Some other ideas: Strange things you don't see where you are from (ie. Star Fruit, Tuk-Tuks, Monks, or the worlds smallest napkins).
